How Should I Fill Out My Self-Impression Kit?

  1. Retrieve the putties from the package and begin the impression-taking process within 5 to 10 minutes of opening them. Combine the contents of both pots until they are fully blended into a uniform color. It is crucial to complete this mixing step within 45 seconds to prevent the putties from setting too quickly.

  2. Form the well-blended putties into a cylindrical shape, then gently curve it into a horseshoe before positioning it inside the tray. Aim to finish this step within 15 seconds.

  3. Immediately place the tray into your mouth and secure it by biting down firmly on the putty, allowing your upper teeth to press against the bottom of the tray. There’s no need to use your fingers to adjust the tray; simply keep your mouth closed and your lips sealed for a full 3 minutes.

  4. Once the 3 minutes are complete, carefully remove the tray with the impression, taking care not to damage the impression while detaching it from your teeth. Rinse it thoroughly under cold water to eliminate any residue, then place it in a shaded area to air dry, ensuring it is kept away from direct sunlight.

  5. Place the dried impression into the provided plastic clam, ensuring that all associated paperwork from the kit is included. Next, secure the clam inside the included plastic envelope and send it to the address indicated on the envelope.
