How To Check That All iMG Data is Synced?

To determine if there is any remaining data that requires syncing, you can use the Prevent Portal or Prevent App.

For full guidance on how to sync data from from Prevent iMGs, please see the following article:

Using the Prevent App:

  1. Open the Prevent App while within close Bluetooth range of the Prevent iMG(s), making sure that your device has an active internet connection. Allow 30-seconds for each device to establish a Bluetooth connection to the app. The Prevent App will automatically initiate the data syncing process, requiring no additional action from the user.

  2. Navigate to the 'Status' tab on the app. This tab offers an overview of the data that still needs to be synced for each athlete. Below is an explanation of the available information:

Events to Sync - This shows the number of events collected by the iMG device that require syncing.

Raw Data to Sync - This shows the amount of raw data collected by the iMG device that require syncing. This refers to impact traces for each event, used to calculate a more precise impact value.

Logs to Sync - This shows the number of background logs that require syncing. These are utilised by Prevent to see the health of each device and for internal testing.

  3. If you see any numbers displayed in these columns on the 'Status' tab, it means that there is data that requires syncing from the iMG device. Leave the Prevent App open until these numbers have cleared. This usually takes 10-15 minutes for a full team's data.
