Follow this guide for a complete overview of all steps required to a run a session with the Prevent System.
Charging and Pre-Session Syncing:
- Allow 90 minutes for all Prevent iMGs to fully charge, indicated by a green LED light on the solo charging case - How Do I Charge a Prevent iMG?
- Open the Prevent App. Allow 30-seconds for all iMGs to establish a Bluetooth connection. To verify each iMG has succesfully connected, please refer to the image below:
Sync Before Use? Before each session, it is essential to connect the Prevent iMG to the Prevent App.
This connection is vital for accurate data collection, as it sets the correct date and time stamp on the device. Keep in mind that this timestamp resets when the iMG loses power, making it imperative to perform this step for every session.
iMG Deployment:
- Disconnect the solo charging case from the power source and carefully take out the Prevent iMG.
- The Prevent iMG is now prepared for data collection. Instruct the athlete to wear the iMG on their teeth throughout the session, as they would during regular use.
- During your session, keep track of the impacts recorded by each athlete's iMG through the Prevent App. iMG devices must remain within Bluetooth range to receive real-time data updates.
- A fully charged Prevent iMG can provide operates for 6 to 8 hours, with the actual duration influenced by the frequency of data collection during use.

Data Syncing:
- After completing a session, please place all iMGs back into their solo charging case and connect the case to a power source using either the individual USB cable or the team charging case.
