The impact monitor is always on and active whenever it is charged. There is no preparation required after removing it from the charger. Simply wear it in your mouth like a normal mouthguard, and monitor measurements with the Prevent Team App.
SYNC BEFORE USE
To ensure optimal data accuracy, it is recommended to regularly sync the IMG’s with an iOS device. Simply open the app and place the iPhone/iPad close to the IMG’s. It is crucial to sync all devices before use to ensure the IMG’s have the correct day and time for each session.
FUNCTIONALITY CHECK
Prior to usage, it is important to verify the functionality of the IMG’s. While on the team page in the iOS app, make sure that all monitors are securely connected to the app via Bluetooth (BLE). This step guarantees that the monitors are adequately charged, operational, and ready for use. If the checks are successful, the IMG’s can be utilized. If any issues arise, please refer to the troubleshooting section.
SYNC AFTER USE
After finishing the session, make sure to return the iMG’s to their individual cases and then place them back in the Team Charging case. Open the iOS app while connected to the internet and let the iMG’s sync their impact data to the online portal. Neglecting to do this will result in the impacts being stored locally on the iMG or iPhone/iPad.
